DRAFT — NOT APPROVED FOR PUBLICATION. Prepared for internal review. The Teams service is not yet live.
Internal terms of use
These draft terms describe the intended use of Hal by authorised 24x7 staff. They supplement, and do not replace, applicable employment, IT security and acceptable-use policies.
Authorised business use
Use Hal only for work you are authorised to perform. Access to a Teams channel or to Hal does not grant administrative authority over a device or service. Do not use Hal to bypass access controls or security requirements.
Information you provide
Provide only the information needed for the task. Do not submit passwords, private keys, API tokens, verification codes, payment details or unrelated sensitive personal information in chat. Report accidental disclosure promptly through the internal IT support process.
Checks and approvals
AI-generated advice can be incorrect, incomplete or out of date. Verify important results before relying on them. A successful API response does not by itself prove a device action completed.
Administrative work must be limited to the requested scope. Disruptive actions require explicit confirmation of the target, intended change, likely impact and recovery arrangements. Save your work before approving a restart. An approval does not authorise unrelated actions or future repetitions.
Conversations and records
Requests, responses, identifiers, approvals and operational results may be processed and retained as described in the privacy notice. Do not treat Hal conversations as private from authorised service administrators.
Availability and incidents
Hal depends on its host computer, internet connectivity, Microsoft Teams and other service providers. It may be unavailable. Use the established IT support or incident process for urgent issues; Hal is not a guaranteed emergency-response service.
Questions and updates
Hal is operated by 24x7 Ltd. Contact info@24x7ltd.co.uk about access, these terms or a suspected problem. Changes to the service or these terms require review before use.
